Houka Ramen Tachikawa
宝華らぁめん 立川店
A shop next to Tachikawa-Minami Station that is open daily. Its signature is abura soba, soupless noodles in a light plant-oil sauce, served alongside a clear chicken-bone soy ramen.
The shop
The shop has a sister branch in Kokubunji. Both run under the motto 'a flavor we guarantee'.
The bowl
The shop makes its abura soba with plant oil and seasons it lightly so it does not feel greasy. Ramen is served in a clear, old-fashioned broth made from chicken bones, in soy (shoyu) or salt (shio). The chashu is made in-house and marinated in the shop's own tare. The gyoza are filled mostly with vegetables.
How to order
The signature order is the abura soba (¥850). Variations include grated daikon or kimchi (¥900 each) and chashu abura soba with four thick slices of pork (¥1,050). Shoyu ramen, shio ramen and tsukemen are ¥850 each, and wonton and negi (green onion) ramen are ¥900. Prices include tax and were revised on 1 June 2026.
