The shop

Tabelog lists the shop's opening as 2000. Its official website describes it as an abura-soba specialist with a homely atmosphere, and it also sells its noodles and sauce for home cooking, both at the shop and by mail order.

The bowl

Abura soba is served without soup: thick noodles are tossed with the shop's own sauce, and diners adjust the bowl with toppings and table condiments. The regular Ippei Soba is made with lard, while the 'Healthy Ippei Soba' uses vegetable oil for a slightly lighter version. Toppings on the official menu include chashu, kimchi, shredded white negi, chopped negi, seasoned egg, menma, raw egg, butter, kaiware sprouts, shredded nori and bonito powder.

How to order

Order the Ippei Soba, choosing regular (nami), medium (chu), large (dai) or extra-large (tokudai), or the Healthy version in the same sizes. Soy-sauce, salt, miso and tonkotsu ramen, fried rice, vegetable stir-fry and gyoza are also on the menu. The shop announced a partial price revision from October 1, 2026, so check current prices on site.
